Think Leadership

Why Think Leadership

The key to being a great leader isn’t about skills, it's about thinking. It’s about having the right attitude and mindset.

Most leaders already have the skills to do the job. And when they get stuck, they’ll add new skills in a just-in-time fashion.

But that key 'thinking' piece takes most people too long to learn and many leaders never level up. It's why the world is full of bad bosses.

Think Leadership was created to fill this training gap. We’re here to improve your thinking.

We create short-form, no-fluff learning resources to help you generate amazing results, immediately. We’ll help you grow your influence, add more value, and gain more fulfillment from your leadership role.

About Our Founder

Scott Drake

Scott Drake is a technology executive on a mission to demystify leadership and make it easier to learn. His 25-year career includes stops at Microsoft in Redmond, Wash. and at startups from coast-to-coast. He's held formal and in-formal leadership roles for more than 20 years and is the author of "The Programmer Hiring Playbook: A Crash Course in Interviewing and Hiring for Your Real-World Needs."

Scott created Think Leadership because he believes you should be in control of your own growth and development. Your fate should be in your own hands.

When he’s not leading or studying leadership, you’ll find him cooking mostly vegan and vegetarian food, hiking, travelling, or watching Formula1 and IndyCar racing.

Scott is available on a very limited basis for one-on-one and group coaching, custom training, speaking and leadership consulting. Start a conversation via an email to riseup@thinkleadership.com to learn more.
